Krystal grew up in the small town of Sunnyside, WA. She attended WSU where she earned her Masters in Accounting. After college, she and her husband, Jared, lived in Seattle for 7 years before moving to Spokane to raise a family. In 2017 Krystal left her professional career to focus on her two young children.
While being a wife and mom are her first priorities, Krystal has always had a passion for staying busy and putting her professional experience to use. In late 2019 she heard about Spokane Angels and was immediately drawn to the mission. When presented with the opportunity to join the Board in Spring 2020, Krystal knew it was a perfect fit.
In her spare time, Krystal loves being creative with home DIY projects, refinishing furniture to give it new life, caring for her family's animals, and cooking/baking (specifically trying out new sourdough recipes). She also loves traveling with her husband and kids, trying new restaurants and wineries, and spending time at their family lake cabin boating, swimming, fishing and soaking up the sun. Creating memories with her family and friends, and making a difference in the local Spokane community are Krystal's main priorities. She feels blessed to be part of Spokane Angels, making a positive impact for our local foster community.
