In Washington state alone, there are 8,894 children and youth currently in foster care, and approximately one in four will experience homelessness after aging out. Spokane Angels is dedicated to changing the statistics. Raising awareness and sharing stories that recognize the hard work of foster parents, social workers, and other professionals who tirelessly serve this community are two of the many tools to bring about change.
Spokane Angels is a regional chapter of National Angels, a nationwide network of chapters united in their mission to care for this community. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to walking alongside children and youth in the foster care system, as well as their caretakers, by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship.
