Likes: Family time, traveling, good conversation, summer, dreamers, adventure, inspiring books, resiliency, chocolate covered strawberries, potatoes Dislikes: Injustice, mushrooms, cold weather, negativity, clutter Amber was a third grade teacher and foster mom when she heard about National Angels on a podcast. Because of her experiences, she knew that Spokane needed programs that provide relationship, mentorship and intentional giving to children in foster care and the foster families loving them. She put together a board, fundraised and started Spokane Angels in January of 2019. Amber and her husband, Daniel, have been together for 16 years and have 5 children together - both adopted from foster care and biological: Ares (13), Luke(12), Chayce (8), Ella (3) and Jaxson (1). |
